1.Message from the Principal
This college is one of the oldest institutions of southern Haryana and is known for its excellence in the fields of Academics, Cultural Activities and Sports. The aims and objectives of this institution are to produce socially responsible, ideal and dedicated citizens for the society. National Assessment and Accreditation Council Banglore has judiciously assessed and accredited this college at (+B) Level with 77.25% marks. The college is situated in beautiful pollution free atmosphere amidst greeneries. The college has good infrastructure keeping pace with the academic growth. The improvement in infrastructure is continuously augmented. The college administration is fully involved in the overall development of the personality of the students to make them disciplined citizens.
2.About us
The college was established by the then PEPSU Government in 1954 to cater to the needs of the young generation of this area in the field of Higher Education. There was no other institution at the time of its establishment to provide teaching facilities in Arts, Science and Commerce Faculties within a radius of 50 Kms. It is the oldest institution in this part of the state and was granted permanent affiliation by the Punjab University in 1954 The college remained affiliated to Kurukshetra University for 11 years with effect from 1967 to 1978. Since November 1978, the college has affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. The College is registered under Section 2 (f) & 12(a) of the UGC Act.

The college is situated in a pollution free area almost out of the town and spread over an area of 33 acres of land, which has been fully developed with greeneries. The college is known for its excellence in the fields of Academics, Cultural Activities and Sports in this area. The aims and objective of this institution are to produce socially responsible, ideal, dedicated and disciplined citizens for the society.
3.Activities
(A) Academics
Regular teaching work in the classes goes on throughout the session. Evaluation of the students is done by holding Monthly Class Tests & Half Yearly Examinations. Teachers are encouraged to enhance their academic qualifications and such teachers are sent to various departments under Faculty Improvement Programme. Refresher Courses and Orientation Courses are conducted by Academic Staff Colleges at various places in the country, to participate in these courses is mandatory for being promoted to Higher Scales. Seminars, Extension Lectures Science Quiz, Quiz Contests in other subjects, Debates and Declamations, Science Exhibition, Participation in State Level Essay Writing Competitions etc. are the regular academic activities for the students, which are conducted by this college throughout the session. Students are encouraged to participate in these activities to develop their attitude towards the subject concerned.
(B) Extra Curricular Activities
(i) 300 Students are enrolled under National Service Scheme Programme In Three NSS Units Every Year for rendering Social Services to the society under the supervision of Programme Officers. Under this Programme regular activities are held throughout the year and students are encouraged to be Socially Responsible.

(ii) 320 Students of the college are enrolled every year in NSS Programme in Two NCC Units (One for Boys and another for Girls) under the supervision of an NCC Officers. They are trained in Military Activities, Mountaineering, Fire Fighting, and River Rafting etc.
(C) Sports
Sports activities are held throughout the year under the supervision of Lecturer in Physical Education. The college has facility of Cricket, Foot Ball, Hockey, Badminton, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Archery and Track Events. Students participate in Inter College, University Level, Inter University Level, State Level and National Level Competitions.
(D) Cultural Activities
Students of this college are encouraged to participate in One Act Play, Group Dance, Group Song, Mimicry, Classic Dance, Western Song, Poetic Recitation etc. at Zonal and Inter Zonal Level under the guidance of Directors. These activities are socially based and community oriented.
(E) Writing Skills
College produces a Magazine Every Year in which the articles written by students are published. This improves the academic calibre and writing skills of the students.
(F) Career Guidance
Students enrolled in this college find an opportunity for getting their placements through Career Guidance imparted by Learned Educationists, Technocrats, Beaurocrats and other important dignitaries from the society.
(G) EDUSAT
The college has the facility of EDUSAT, to provide education to the students of different classes in various subjects through the Settlite from this session by the Government of Haryana. A separate well furnished room has already been established for the EDUSAT. The time table of the same has been intimated by the Higher Education Commissioner, Haryana, Chandigarh. As per the timetable the students of the different classes are attending their lectures through EDUSAT at stipulated time daily.
4.Achievements
The college has traversed a long journey upholding its objectives of providing quality education in diversified disciplines. It has alumni association comprising technocrats, Beaurocrats, reputed teachers, doctors, engineers, scientists of repute, bank officers chartered accountants and so on. The college has produced IAS Officers, IPS Officers, IRS Officers, IFS Officers, HCS Officers, Geologists, Military Officers, Excise and Taxation Officers, Haryana Police Services Officers, Customs Officers, District Food and Supplies Controllers, Deputy Commissioner (Police), Assistant Commissioner (Police), Principals of Degree Colleges etc. etc. who are serving in the society at various places. This is the only institution in Haryana that has facility of Post Graduate Studies in the subject of Geology and the students of this institution after passing M.Sc. Geology are well placed in organizations like Oil and Natural Gas Commission, Geological Survey of India, Ground Water Cell and the Department of Mining and Geology.
5.Courses offered
The college provides education in Arts (English, Hindi, History, Geography, Defence Studies, Mathematics, Sociology, Sanskrit, Political Science, Economics Subjects), Science (Medical & Non Medical)(Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Geology and Mathematics) and Commerce (All Commerce Subjects approved by the University) facilities to Under-graduate students and English, Geography and Geology to Post-Graduates students. BBA Classes has also been stated in this college from the current session with an intake of 60 seats. 2215 students (Boys and Girls for Science Classes and M.A. Classes) have been admitted in this college in the current session 2006-2007. The curriculum of these classes in various subjects is designed and decided by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak comprising a Penel of Subject Experts, Senior Most Educationists and the Members of Board of Studies in accordance with the guidelines of University Grants Commission.
6.Instructions
Ours is a College under the Administrative Control of Haryana Government. Therefore instructions regarding, Admissions, Fees Structure, Examinations, Schedule of Various Events, Release of various grants, Improvement in infrastructure, Scholarships and other welfare schemes for students, Transfers of teaching and non teaching staff, salaries, promotions, punishments etc. all are governed by the Government of Haryana and the Department of Higher Education. The instructions supplied by the Government and by the department of Higher Education are being followed in letter and spirit.
7.Eligibility Details
Eligibility for admissions to Ist Degree Level i.e. BA/B Sc/B Com is strictly followed as per the guidelines supplied by the Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. Only those candidates who are eligible for admission in a respective course are considered and separate lists, category wise, are prepared keeping in view the number of seats fixed in a particular course. Eligibility criterion in respect of students passing the examination from a Foreign University is decided by the University. Such cases are referred to the University.
8.Admission Schedule
Admissions are made in this college as per the instructions of the Higher Education Commissioner, Haryana, Chandigarh and Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. Admission schedule is prepared by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak in consultation with Higher Education Commissioner and all rules pertaining to Admissions, dates, reservation criterion, eligibility conditions, late admissions, migration etc. are circulated to the college through the Brochure of the University every year.

No of seats in a particular course/subject is decided and fixed by the Higher Education Commissioner, Haryana, Chandigarh keeping in view the availability of infrastructure and teaching faculty. Admissions are made strictly in accordance with the Merit and following the instructions of the Directorate and Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

10.Faculty
The College has Arts, Science and Commerce Faculties upto Undergraduate Level and Geology, English and Geography upto Post-Graduate Level. Besides Principal there are 44 Lecturers in the Teaching Faculty in various subjects of Arts, Science and Commerce. Out of them 20 Lecturers are Ph.Ds., 11 M.Phils and 13 Lecturers are M.A./M.Scs. Among 44 members of the teaching faculty 36 are in Selection Grade, 02-are in Senior Grade and 07 are in Lecturer Grade.

In this college there are 38 members of the non teaching faculty out of them One is Assistant,3 Clerks, One Steno, Two Senior Lecture Assistant, Six Junior Lecture Assistants, 08 Laboratory Assistants, One Type Writing Instructor, One Senior Librarian, One Restorer, Three Library Attendants and Eleven Class Four Employees
11.ExaminationThe College is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak which conducts Annual Examination of B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./M.A./M.Sc. at the end of the session in the month of April/ May . The examination in respect of Distance Education Students are also conducted by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak Examination of Distance Education normally starts 10 days earlier to the examination of the regular students.

College Holds Monthly Class Tests and Half Yearly Examinations in the Month of December every year. On the basis of which eligibility of students to appear in the Annual Examination is determined.
12.InfrastructureThis institution has 16 Well-Equipped Laboratories in various Science Departments, One Lecture Theatre, One Auditorium, 22 Class Rooms, Double Story Hostel Building which can accommodate 60 students, Double Story Library Building, Community Centre, Canteen Building, Dispensary Block, Hostel Wardens’ and Hostel Superintendents’ Residences, Six Class Four Quarters, Cycle Stand with a capacity of 1000 Cycles/Scooters. The college has also Play Grounds for Volley Ball, Cemented Basket Ball Court, Lawn Tennis Court and Badminton Court, Football Ground, Hockey Ground, Cricket Ground and Paccka 400 Meter 7 Lanes Running Track etc.
13.LibraryThis institution has a separate Double Story Building for Library in which more than 48000 books are housed pertaining to various subjects, Text Books, Reference Books, Biography and Journals for the use of Undergraduate and Post Graduate students. About a Dozen of daily leading newspapers and Sixteen daily/Quarterly/Monthly Magazines are available in the reading room of the Library for the benefit of the students. In addition to this the college has a separate well-equipped conference room in the library building to hold seminars etc. There are three well-equipped Day Scholar Rooms for the benefit of the students.

The institute was established in 1992 because of the untiring efforts of his Holiness late Baba Kheta Nath, a great social worker of this area. In recognition of his services, the institution has been named after him. It is a Govt. institute established under World Bank assisted project. The project cost was Rs. 12 Crore. It was one of the single largest project of the area totally funded by World Bank.

INSTITUTIONAL OBJECTIVES:
Following institutional objectives have been identified for B.K.N.Govt. Polytechnic, Narnaul.
  • Imparting of education and practical training to Technicians at Diploma level so as to develop an integrated personality well adjusted both in society and profession.

INFRSTRUCTURE:
The institution has a beautiful campus having civil works costing 9 Crores consisting of Administrative cum Teaching Block, Lab Block , Work Shop Block, NCC Block,canteen and Guest House . Institute has well equipped laboratories for imparting training in all the courses being offered .

A sum of Rs.3 Crores has been spent on Machinery and Equipment in various Labs and Work Shops.

The institute has an independent 11 KV line supplied by SBHVPN. The diesel Generating sets of 62.5 KVA and 50 KVA have been installed in the Campus. This meets the complete requirements of Electrical power in case of Supply faliure.
LIBRARY
A very spacious library is maintained for use by staff and students. It has a separate Book Bank which caters to the needs of Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribes and other Backward class students. Books are loaned to the needy students for the entire semester of their study.
HOSTEL
Hostel accomodation for 270 students has been provided within the Campus. It caters to needs of all the students of the institute.
STAFF RESIDENCES
Well built spacious residences have been provided for the staff. Nearly 90% of the staff resides in the Campus.
CONFERENCE ROOM
A well equipped conference room is being used to hold conferences and seminars.

Department of Electrical Engg.
This department offers three year Diploma course in Electrical Engg. The department has well equipped Electrical Machine Lab, Basic Electricity Lab, Electrical Measurement lab and Electrical Work Shop. The Deptt. looks after the Electrical maintenance work of the Institute, Hostel and 11 KVA sub station situated in the Campus.
Department of Mechanical Engg.
This department has well equipped labs like Mechanics of Solid lab having material testing facilities viz. Tensile test , Compressive test, torsion test , hardness tests etc., Thermal and Automobile Engg. Lab, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning lab, Material & Metallurgy Lab.

The Deptt. also possesses well established Work Shop having various shops viz. Carpentery and pattern making Shop, Fitting Shop, Machine Shop having Milling , Drilling , Shaping etc. Machines, Turning Shop, Painting Shop having Compressor and powder coating machine, One Electro Discharge machine, One HMT CNC Lathe, One HMT Vertical machining center, two CNC train master lathe, One HMT CNC machining center in the CNC Shop.
Department of Electronics and Communication Engg.
There are various labs in the institution, the brief description of each lab is as under :
1. Advance Electronics Lab
It has the latest Pentium processor based Computer machines and Electronics learning Softwares, Students design and test the circuits and also make layout of PCB with the help of latest Software packages.
2. Communication Lab
Students get training in the field of fibre optics and microwave communication.
3. Digital and Microprocessor Lab
In this lab training kits on 8 bit , 16 bit and 32 bit microprocessor and different types of interfacing cards are available for training of students.
4. Electronics test and measurement lab
All type of trainer related to the study of transducers and measuring instruments are available for students training .
5. Electronics Work Shop
Students undertake design and fabrication of latest equipment is available in the Shop for testing Electronics components and equipment.
6. Consumer Electronics Lab
In the consumer Electronics Lab there is facility for training for repairing of TV, Audio/Video systems and other Electronic Consumer products.
7. Basic Electronics Lab
The students of Electrical and Electronics & Comm. Engg. disciplines get basic Electronics training with the help of simple training kits.
Department of Applied Sciences
The staff in Applied Sciences deptt. imparts instructions in subjects of Physics , Chemistry, Mathmatics and Communication skills to students of various discipline in first and second semesters.The staff looks after the interest of students completely in the first year of their studies.It provides active support in their overall development by promoting extra curricular activities.

Training & Placement Cell:
The training and Placement Cell of this institute works for the overall development of the students.
To achieve the above said object the institute give emphasis on the following things:
  • To arrange extension lectures for the students of all the disciplines on the various Technical & non Technical / General topics for their overall personality development.
  • To arrange the Industrial tours of the students of all the disciplines.
  • To arrange the campus interviews for the students of the various branches. Many students have been selected by various industries during campus interviews.
  • One of the main aspects of this cell is about industry institute interaction , which is done by arranging various meetings with the persons having industrial backgrounds.
LRUC:
The institute has well equipped learning resources utilization centre with conference room, Media centre , CTV, VCR, OHP, Punching , Binding , Lamination M/C , Photocopier etc.The media centre has facilities for making slides with computer using Powerpoint .
Students are imparted training by using transparencies on various subjects. Technical Video tapes are shown to students. Teachers with the help of students prepare charts , Graphs and other related aids for use in class / lab.
Computer Centre
The institute has three independent computer centers which are being used by the students and staff of the institution for their training . The center is provided with version 4.01 LAN having 6 nodes. The server is a Pentium server with CDROM Drive .
Systems PII have been provided in Computer center for Electronics and Communication Engg. Deptt. It has also been provided with Fax Modem , Scanner and Internet facility. The students make use of Internet during their training.
In addition to it LRUC of the institution is also provided with a P-II system , Scanner and Desk Jet printer.
Sufficient number of Laser Jet , Desk Jet and Dot Matrix Printers are available in the Center . Facility for CD Writer is also available in the Center.
Community Development Centre
A community development centre sponsored by the ministry of Human Resources Development Govt. of India is running in the institute to cater to the technical needs of the rural populace. CDC is engaged in the technical man power development , transfer of technology and providing Technical services in the villages. About 300 Boys / Girls are presently undergoing training in various trades in six extension centres.
Sports
The sports and athletics have been assigned an important place of in the life of this institute. Sports activities are supervised by the sports President. Our institute entered teams in almost all the games in Inter polytechnic tournament and achieved considerable success.
SFC/SDC
The student fund committee and the student welfare council are the pivotal representative bodies of the students in the institution. These bodies contain representative of brilliant students of different classes and representatives from sports , Hostel , Literary and Academic clubs. Staff members are attached as advisors to these bodies. These bodies hold regular meetings and deliberate upon various welfare measures for the student and make necessary recommendations to the principal. The institution also provide opportunities for the expression and development of artistic talents through extra. curricular clubs.

Government College, ATELI came into existence in1981 for providing access to higher education to rural students at affordable prices. Initially it was named Sanjay College Ateli and founded by Ateli Regional Rural And Education Committee, Ateli. Since its inception the college has been tirelessly contributing to the overall development of the region and has attained phenomenal success. It has catered to diverse ambitions and expectations of students by providing multi-faculty programs at both the levels- U.G. & P.G. The college provides a co-education and offers B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., B.C.A. and M.A. (English and Sanskrit). Blueprint for introduction of some vocational and job oriented courses e.g. Tourism Management and Fashion Designing from the forthcoming session has been prepared. Except B.Sc. and B.C.A. all these classes run in Distance Education too for those who can’t join regular classes. The college emphasizes equally on the co-curricular activities for a harmonious and congruous personality development of the students which includes regular training and conferences on health, defence, sports and cultural activities. Such rigorous and consistent efforts invariably precipitate in marvelous results. Every year the college result surpasses the pass percentage of MDU, Rohtak with intermittent placement of our students in University merit list. Besides in Zonal Youth Festivals the college students grab a good number of prizes. For instance 19 prizes in the last youth festival.
Our motto is to live the aspirations and ambitions of thousands of students and in giving our best assistance in their pursuit of achievement of these ambitions. With God grace we never let them down and their achievement in life permeates the fragrance of our diligence. In the 28 years, from its beginning, the college has secured a niche in the government colleges of the state with a casket full of achievements.

Activities
College Councils:-
The college maintains a number of councils for the smooth and effective functioning of the different programs meant for the betterment of students. These councils are entitled as –English Literary Council, Hindi-Sanskrit Literary Council, Social Sciences Literary Council, Economics and Commerce Council, Military Science Council and Women Cell. It organizes at regular intervals Debate, Symposium, Quiz, Speech and Cultural competitions for sharpening the dormant talent as well as to cultivate creative and critical faculty in the students. Every student has to join and participate in at least one of the activities.
2.Cultural Activities:-
Cultural Activities are inevitable with studies. Inter-class, Inter-colleges, Zonal and Inter-zonal competitions for singing, dancing, playing music, debates, symposium, plays etc. are regularly held and students are given ample support and training in the college campus.
3.N.C.C.:-
Under the supervision of Dr. Neeraj Chauhan the N.C.C. wing of the college registers 160cadets for their regular training. N.C.C is supposed to be the third front of our national defense and contributes to the physical and psychological development of the students.
4.N.S.S. :-
With the sacred aim of serving the nation, the college runs three units of N.S.S. under the supervision of Sh. Narender Singh, Sh. Sanjeev Kumar and Mrs. Ruchi Vadhwa. Through N.S.S. an educational awareness programme on various evils such as illiteracy, dowry, child-marriage, drug addiction etc. is undertaken.
5.Women Cell:-
Women Cell of the college functions under the supervision of Mrs. Jyoti Yadav. The cell regularly organizes different activities for empowerment of girls in various fields ranging from domestic to vocational. It aims to spread awareness about health, nutrition, sex discrimination, women education, dowry, female feticide etc.
6.Sports:-
Sh. Pawan Kumar is presently the in-charge of Sports in the college. The Department supervises sports activities in the college with motto that a healthy mind lives in a healthy body. Annual athlete meet with many other supporting competitions provide the students with multiple opportunities to keep them fit throughout the year. The college promotes sports such as Cricket, Badminton, Basket Ball, Football etc.
7.Earn While You Learn:-
In compliance with the instructions of Haryana Govt. College runs a scheme for the needy and poor students to earn by working in the college. Each student has to work for eight hours in a week and is paid 30 rupees per hour.
8.Tutorial Group:-
Every student is a member of any one of the tutorial groups in the college. The coordinators of these groups are college teachers who guide and counsel students during the session. In fortnightly meetings the teachers discuss different problems faced by the students and offers solutions to them.
9.Educational Tour:-College sends students on an educational tour by providing grant under government provisions. Such tours are very much beneficial for the students.
10.College Magazine:-College facilitates a good platform for the expression of emotions, feelings and ideas of the students in the form of an annually published college magazine- “Girdevi”. The magazine also showcases the yearly achievements and activities of the college.
11.Annual Function:-Every year at the end of the session college holds annual function to honour, prize and inspire successful students. It boosts the morale of he students for better performance in the next session.
12.Edusat:-In the Edusat hall of the college, the Edusat system relays the broadcasted lecturers of eminent scholars for the benefit of students. Dr. Karan Singh is coordinator of Edusat in the college.
13.Law Awareness Cell:-Law/Legal Awareness Cell has been established in this college under the aegis of Haryana Legal Services Authority. This Cell Aims to make public aware on different legal issues through awareness of students. Members of this Cell actively participate in different cultural, co-cultural activities for legal awareness. The convener of this cell is Sh. Bharat Gaurav Kapur.

1.Message from the Principal

Since I have taken over as Principal of the college, we have all worked together with discipline, commitment and resolve to make your life “A Succes” students are offered best learning environment keeping in mind your responsibilities for the development of Indian civilization of values.
In the college extra-curricular activities like sports, games, NSS, and cultureal activities at Zonal and M.U. University level, will stir your life with openness of mind, dignity of conduct and mutual respect in the background of social, economic and cultural aspects of life.
We are proud of our commitment to students achievement during the session 2009-10 and hope to achieve greater heights in the coming session 2010-11
2.About Us:-
This institute was established in 1993 as a women wing of Govt. P.G. College, Mahendergarh. In 1998 contemporary Govt. Of Haryana provided status of Govt. College for Women, Mahendergarh. In this college 1700 students are getting education in Arts & Commerce faculty. The college remained affiliated to M.D.U. Rohtak upto date. Apart from syllabus various cocuricular activities are governed by the college for the all round development of students. NAAC Team assigned “B” grade to our institute during the inspection. The college is situated in a pollution free area almost out of the town and spread over an area of 5 acres of land, which has been fully developed with greeneries. The college is known for its excellence in the fields of Academics, Cultural Activities and Sports in this area. The aims and objective of this institution are to produce socially responsible, ideal, dedicated and disciplined citizens for the society.
3.Activities:-
(A) Academics:- 

Regular teaching work in the classes goes on throughout the session. Evaluation of the students is done by holding Monthly Class Tests &Half Yearly Examinations. Teachers are encouraged to enhance their academic qualifications and such teachers are sent to various departments under Faculty Improvement Programme. Refresher Courses and Orientation Courses are conducted by Academic Staff Colleges at various places in the country, to participate in these courses is mandatory for being promoted to Higher Scales, Seminars, Extension Lectures Science Quiz, Quiz Contests in other subjects, Debates and Declamations, Science Ehhibition, Participation in State Level Essay Writing Competitions etc. are conducted by this college throughout the session. Students are encouraged to participate in these activities to develop their attitude towards the subject concerned.
(B) Extra Curricular Activities:-
(i) 200 Students are enrolled under National Service Scheme Programme in Two NSS Units Every Year for rendering Social Services to the society under the supervision of Programme Officers. Under this Proramme regular activities are held throughout the year and students are encouraged to be Socially Responsible.
(C) Sports:-
Sports activities are held throughout the year under the supervision of Lecturer in Physical Education. The college has facility of Badmintion,Volley Ball, and Track Evens. Students participate in Inter College, Univerity Level, Inter University, State Level Competitions.
(D) Cultural Activities :-
Students of this college are encouraged to participate in One Act Play. Group Dance, Group Song, Mimicry, Classic Dance, Western Song, Poetic Recitation etc. at Zonal and Inter Zonal Level under the guidance of Directors. These activities are socially based and community oriented.
(E) Writing Skills:-
College produces a Magazine Every Year in chich the articles written by students are published. This improves the academic caliber and writing skills of the students.
(F) Carrer Guidance:-
Students enrolled in this college find an opportunity for getting their placements through Career Guidance imparted by Learned Educationists, Technocrats, Beaurocrats and other important dignitaries from the society.

(G) EDUSAT:-
The college has the facility of EDUSAT, to provide education, to provide education to the students of different classes in various subjects through the Settalite from 2006 session by the Govt. of Haryana. A Separte well furnished room has already been established for the EDUSAT. The time table of the same has been intimated by the Higher Education Commissioner, Haryana, Panchkula. As per the timetable the students of the different classes are attending their lectures throught EDUSAT at stipulated time daily.
(H) Women Cell:-
Wemen Cell is working for the empowerment of Girls students. Through of various schemes sponsored by the government from time to time.
(I) Legarl Cell:-
Legarl Cell is working in the college for the awakening of students about their rights
4.Achievements:-
The college has traversed a long journey unholding its objectives of providing quality educacation in diversified disciplines. It has alumni association comprising technocrats, Beaurocrats, reputed teachdrs, bakn officers, chartered accountants and so on.
5.Courses offered:-
The College provides education in Arts(English, Hindi, History, Geographry, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Pol.Sc. Economics, Public Administration, Sociology, Music- I & V subjects) and Commerce (All Commerce Subjects approved by the University) facilities to Under-graduate students. 1700 students have been admitted in this college in the current session 2010-11. The curriculum of these classes in various subjects in designed and decided by M. D.U. Rohtak comprising a Panel of Subject Experts, Senior Most Educationists and the Members of Board of Studies in accordance with the guidelines of University Grants Commission.
6.Instruction:

Ours is a college under the Administrative Control of Haryana Government. Therefore instructions regarding, Admissions, Fees Structure, Examinations, Schedule of Various Events, Release of various grants, Improvement in infrastructure, Scholarships and other welfare schemes for students, Transfers of teaching and on teaching staff, salaries, promotions, punishments etc. all are governed by the Government of Haryana and the Department of Higher Education. The instructions supplied by the Government and by the department of Higher Education are being followed in letter and spirit.
7.Eligibility Details:-
Eligibility for admissions to Ist degree Level i.e. BA/B.Com is strictly followed as per the guidelines supplied by the M.D.U. Rohtak. Only those candidates who are eligible for admission in a respective course are considered and separate lists, category wise, are prepared keeping in view the number of seats fixed in the particular course. Eligibilitycriterion in respect of students passing the examination from a Foreign University is decided by the University. Such cases are referred to the University. Admissions are made in this college as per the instructions of the Higher Education Commissioner, Haryana, Panchkula and M.D.U. Rohtak. Admission schedule is prepared by M.D.U. Rohtak in consultation with Higher Education Commissioner and all rules pertaining to Admissions, dates, reservation criteion, eligibility conditions., late fladmissions, migration etc. are circulated to the college through the Brochure of the University every year.

10.Faculty:-The college has Arts & Commerce Facultiee upto undergraduate Level . Besides Principal there are 13 Lecturers in the Teaching Faculty in various subjects of Arts & Commerce. Out of them 5 Lecturers Ph.Ds., 8 M.Phil.

In this college there are 10 members of Non Teaching faculty out of them One Deputy Superintendent, One Assistant, 2 Clerks, One Junior Lecture Assistant, One Labortary Assistant, One Tabla Player and Three Class Four Employees.
11.Examination:-The college is affiliated to M.D.U. Rohtak which conducts Annual Examination of BA/B.Com at the end of the session in the month of April/May. The examination in respect of Distance Education Students are also conducted by the M.D.U. Rohtak Examination of Distance Education normally starts 10 days earlier to the examination of the regular students.

College Hold Monthly Class Tests and Half Yearly Examinations in the month of December every year. On the basis of which eligibility of students to appear in the Annual Examination is determined.
12.Infrastructure:-This institution has 3 Well-Epuipped Laboratories in Geography, Music-I & V Subjects, One Staff Room, One Hall, 7 Class Rooms, Libraray, Dispensary, Com. Deptt., EDUSAT Room, Two Computer Laboratories, Office, Principal’s Office, Play Ground.
13.Library:-This institution has a Library in which more than 15415 books are housed pertaining to various subjects, Text Books, Reference Books, Biography and Journals for the use of Undergraduate students. About a Zozen of daily leading newpapers are available in the reading room of the Library and Sixteendaily/Quarterly/Monthly Magazines are available in the reading room of the Library for the benefit fo the students.
